Our Story

Building a Circular Future With Wood

Ringwood began as a small timber salvage yard and has grown into a full-scale wood recovery operation — without losing sight of why the work matters.

Since 2011

"Wood is one of the few materials that can be recovered, reshaped and reused again and again."

Our Story

Ringwood started with a single truck, a rented yard, and a simple observation: construction sites and warehouses were sending usable timber straight to landfill. We began collecting it ourselves, sorting it by hand, and finding buyers who needed exactly what was being thrown away.

Today that same instinct drives a facility that processes hundreds of tons of wood waste every month, serving construction firms, manufacturers and logistics operators who need a reliable, responsible outlet for their timber byproducts.

Mission

To keep as much usable wood as possible out of landfill by making recycling simple, dependable and commercially viable for the businesses that generate it.

Vision

A regional supply chain where recovered timber is treated as a standard raw material — not a waste product — across construction, manufacturing and energy.

01

Sustainability Commitment

Every process decision is weighed against its landfill-diversion impact, not just cost.

02

Recycling Expertise

Specialist sorting and grading knowledge built over years of handling mixed wood streams.

A dedicated yard and processing line equipped for collection, shredding and classification.

Our Growth

Fifteen Years, One Focus

2011

A Single Salvage Yard

Ringwood opens with one collection vehicle and a small sorting yard, focused on construction offcuts.

2015

Pallet & Packaging Wood Added

Expanded services to include pallet recovery and packaging wood from regional warehouses.

2019

Processing Line Upgrade

Invested in shredding and metal-removal equipment to handle higher volumes and mixed material.

2023

Industrial Partnerships

Began long-term supply agreements with manufacturers seeking recycled wood chips and biomass.

Today

Full-Scale Recovery Operation

Ringwood now serves construction, manufacturing and energy clients across the region.

The Bigger Picture

Why Circular Wood Matters

Recycling timber isn't just about tidiness — it changes how resources move through the economy.

Landfill Reduction

Wood in landfill breaks down slowly and releases methane. Diverting it reduces emissions and extends landfill capacity for material that truly has no further use.

Resource Recovery

Timber that's graded and processed correctly retains real value — as chips, biomass or reclaimed board — instead of being lost entirely.

Reuse Over Extraction

Every ton of recovered wood is a ton that doesn't need to come from newly harvested timber, easing pressure on forest resources.

Responsible Manufacturing

Manufacturers get a consistent, traceable input stream while supporting a visibly circular supply chain.
